Udin Woods is famous for the bandits who hid deep in the woods and in the karst sinkholes and caves. It is also known for a veritable labyrinth of trails. This route is thus laid out so that you first view Udin Woods from below, to orient yourself, and then only in the second part do you go across it. Tržič - Križe - Duplje - Strahinj - across Udin Woods - Tenetiše - Letenice - Sebenje - Tržič
ROUTE DESCRIPTION
The starting point for cycling tours is in the city centre, opposite the Tržič bus station. Parking is possible in public parking areas (parking lots at the Municipality of Tržič, on Predilniška Road at the entrance to the city-BPT, at the Tržič Olympians Hall, along the street Za Mošenikom, among others).
In Tržič, head south along the main road. At the crossroads, take the left road, which climbs slightly towards Pristava. In Pristava, ride past the bus station for another 200 m, then turn right onto a side road that leads between the houses. At the crossroads, continue straight (yield to traffic on the main road). At the end of the settlement the road turns into gravel. Ride across the field towards the primary school and tennis courts. At the sports park, turn right onto the paved road towards Retnje. At a major intersection, turn left towards Duplje and after 100 m head towards the side road through Retnje. Continue through Retnje and Breg ob Bistrici, where the road turns sharply left towards the main road. Turn right and after 50 m ride along the main road, turn right again onto the side road towards Zadraga. Along the way you can already see Udin Woods, which is on your left the whole time, and behind it Kriška Gora with Tolsti Vrh and Storžič. At the end of a short ascent, rejoin the main road and ride through Zg. Duplje. After the bus stop and the fire station, carefully turn left from the main road through Sp. Duplje towards Strahinj. In Strahinj, turn left at the main crossroads. At the end of the village, the asphalt ends and a short ascent begins, followed by a descent. Across Udin Woods follow the main road towards Tenetiše, at the Tenetiše Collection centre turn left. On the main road, turn left towards Tenetiše and Golnik and after 1.5 km turn towards Letenice at the crossroads. Follow the road straight through Letenice and on towards Novake, past the turnoff for Golnik. At the next crossroads at one of the bells of the Three Bells Trail, turn right towards the paraglider landing site. Just 100 m past the landing site, turn left and follow this forest road, which will take you to Sebenje across Udin Woods. After the last descent before Sebenje, you can stretch and exercise at the trail fitness stations, and soon after that the road will be paved again. After 300 m you will reach the main road and turn right towards Križe. Turn onto the trail through the field towards Križe, where you will cross the main road and return through Pristava to the starting point.

A shorter variant begins and ends in Križe (at the parking lot by the cemetery of the primary school).
