Winter fun on sleds
A winter ascent to one of the huts is even more fun when you sled back down. On a sunny winter day or a long winter evening by the light of a headlamp. After the ascent and refreshment in a hut, children in particular will be thrilled to sled back down the snow-covered slopes.
Climb up to Ljubelj Pass or Storžič Mountain Hostel and ride back down to the valley on sleds. You can try out your sledding skills on the new, 600-metre-long sledding run SAK Podljubelj just above the parking area at Ljubelj.
Just around the corner … and you're already at one of the few Slovenian destinations to offer sledding adventures on an abundance of natural trails.
Be sure to sled safely in favourable weather conditions. For sledding under the moon and stars we recommend the use of a headlamp.
